STRATEGY #3: Document Success!

ServeNext’s third and final key strategy for candidate engagement is documenting our successs.

What exactly does it mean to ”document success?”

For advocacy organizations, documentation is essential for activists that engage candidates with persistent attention on their issue.  For ServeNext members, the issue is National Service expansion.  We document our success through photos, video, and written word so that constituents know where their candidates stand on National Service.

If a tree falls in forest and nobody hears it… did it make a sound?  That’s why we document!

Sometimes even celebrities want to get in on the ServeNext fun…

See how easy it is?  You can do it, too!

ServeNext members document candidate engagement by:

  • Taking photos with candidates wearing ServeNext t-shirts and/or stickers.
  • Taking video of candidates talking about National Service and/or ServeNext.
  • Blogging the interaction and responses of candidates to engagement through bird-dogging and/or the ServeNext Pledge.

Please be sure you send us your photos, video, and written at matt@servenext.org so we can help the entire ServeNext Community celebrate your success!
